We are friends who have lived in the North Central Phoenix community for many years. We have all been fortunate enough to watch our children attend local schools and thrive in the wonderful North Central Phoenix neighborhood. Over the years, we have been involved in parent-teacher associations, school projects, National Charity League and Boys Team Charity. Now that our children are grown, we decided to seize the opportunity to form an organization that will allow us to give back to others and enjoy the camaraderie of the vital and dedicated women of North Central Phoenix. Through North Central Women’s League we hope not only to help others but also to provide friends with a fun, social way to interact with a purpose!

Our Mission

North Central Women’s League is a group of women formed by a passion for serving the greater North Phoenix community, through volunteerism, fundraising, scholarships and partnerships that provide life-enriching opportunities in our local schools and charitable organizations.

Our Vision

Collaborating with local businesses and nonprofits in the North Central community, so that we may strengthen the foundation that supports access to higher education and quality of life to those in need.

Kenna Finch Annual Scholarship

In memory of our beloved Kenna, we are naming the North Central Women’s League College Scholarship Fund, the Kenna Finch Annual Scholarship. Kenna was the true definition of a volunteer. She battled Multiple Myeloma for 11 years, and even on some of her worst days she gave of herself freely!

In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting donations to North Central Women’s League for our scholarship program. To date, our scholarship fund has donated $45,000 to local high school students in need that would like to attend college.

The group started with 37 members who volunteered more than 650 hours of community service and donated money and supplies to community partners, including Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, Desert Mission Food Bank, The Cinderella Affair and Native American Connections.
