The link between hunger and poor health is undeniable. Desert Mission is combating hunger across the income spectrum by helping to bridge nutrition gaps that negatively affect the health and well-being of community residents and HonorHealth patients alike. By providing fresh and nutritious foods both through the front door of Desert Mission Food Bank and the through back door with our community programs, we’re able to provide food access, education, and empowerment where it’s most needed.

Since 2016, North Central Women's League (NCWL), a 501c-(3) non-profit organization (EIN 81-2268117), began with a small group of dedicated North Central women and continues to impact our community through volunteerism and direct program support. Your sponsorship makes a difference to people that live, work, and go to school in your neighborhood. Some of the philanthropies we serve to include Sunnyslope Grade School (donations supporting needed programs), Sunnyslope High School ($1000 scholarships for high school seniors), Desert Mission Food Bank (food and monetary donations), Native American Connections (Trunk or Treat), and so many more.
